1. Who we are
MUMREUES ("we", "our") operates the website mumreues.com. We are the data controller for the personal data described in this policy.

2. What personal data we collect
We collect very little data:
- Newsletter email address. If you subscribe to our newsletter, we collect your email address through our form provider (Netlify, Inc.). We use it only to send you updates about MUMREUES. Our legal basis is your consent; you can unsubscribe at any time by contacting us.
- Market preference. When you choose an Amazon region on our site, your choice is stored only in your own browser (localStorage) so the site remembers it — but only if you accept our cookie banner. If you decline, your region applies to the current visit only. It is never sent to our servers.
- Cookie banner choice. We remember whether you accepted or declined the cookie banner, so we don't ask you again. Storing this choice is strictly necessary for the banner to work.
- Country detection. To preselect the right Amazon region, your browser checks your country via your IP address (using Cloudflare's trace service). This happens in your browser; we do not receive or store your IP address.
- Website analytics (Google Analytics 4). Only if you accept our cookie banner, we load Google Analytics 4 (provided by Google LLC) to understand how visitors use our site — for example which pages are viewed, device type, and approximate location. Google processes this data under its own privacy policy. If you decline the banner, no analytics code is loaded at all. Our legal basis is your consent; you can withdraw it at any time via “Cookie settings” in our footer.
We do not create user accounts. Purchases are completed on Amazon, so we never collect payment details, names, or delivery addresses.
3. Amazon affiliate links
Our "Buy on Amazon" buttons take you to Amazon's website. Once you leave our site, Amazon processes your personal data under Amazon's own privacy policy. As an Amazon Associate, MUMREUES earns from qualifying purchases made through these links.
4. Who we share your data with
- Netlify, Inc. — hosts this website and processes newsletter sign-ups on our behalf.
- Google LLC — provides website analytics (Google Analytics 4), but only when you have accepted our cookie banner.
We do not sell your personal data to anyone.
5. How long we keep your data
We keep newsletter email addresses until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete them.
6. Your rights
If you are in the EU, EEA, or UK, you have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data, to restrict or object to its processing, to receive a copy of it, and to withdraw your consent at any time. To exercise any of these rights, contact us at mita@mumreues.com. You also have the right to complain to your local data protection authority.
7. Children
Our website is not directed at children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from them.
8. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The current version is always available at mumreues.com/privacy.
